This Amazing Life

One of the greatest curses of life is also its greatest blessing. I’m talking about the unpredictability of it all — how life can change in the blink of an eye — for either the bad (that’s the curse part I mentioned) or the good (woo! blessing!).

The unpredictability of life means that there could be something shitty lurking around the corner and you just don’t know it yet. Then again, on the other hand, something amazing and wonderful could be waiting for just the right moment to emerge. Either way, it’s a case of something falling into your lap that changes your whole world forever.

Last night reminded me that there are always forces at work in our lives even when we’re not aware of it. That something big could be happening and you’re just not aware of it yet. That The Universe works in deliciously wonderful ways and that things often happen right when they are supposed to. Sometimes surrendering control is the best thing that you can do.

This week The Universe is showing me (again!!) the value of an open heart. Forgiveness. Compassion. Understanding. That there is always room for more love in your life.

Sometimes life hands us an unexpected ball of shit that we have to deal with. And other times, well, it gives us amazing and wonderful gifts that we never truly expected. I don’t know about you, but I’ll take the shit balls knowing that the gifts aren’t necessarily that far behind.

Life is beautiful, friends.
